At Bobbiny, the topic of sustainability is very important. All yarns that you get in our shop are made from recycled materials. These are in turn obtained from production waste, old clothes and other cotton textiles.

From pulp to colored yarn
The materials are first cut into tiny pieces and then shredded again. The color is also formed in this phase. The pulp obtained is then mixed in the correct proportion to obtain the desired shade. The fibers are then spun into yarn. Due to the production process, some batches may vary in tone.
But it's the imperfection that makes a DIY perfect, right?

Water and toxic dyes are not used during the entire manufacturing process of Bobbiny yarns. Then there is the matter of transportation. Bobbiny tries to keep CO2 consumption as low as possible and limit energy consumption.
